SpinCall
Last updated: January 2025
SpinCall does not collect any information that identifies you personally. We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-preserving anonymous analytics service, to count app launches and feature usage so we can improve the app.
What we collect, anonymously:
- App launches
- Game start and end events (player count and spinner style only, never names or results)
- Paywall views and which screen triggered them
- Purchase completions (price in USD, currency, and storefront country), never tied to your identity
- Apple TV pairing and disconnection events
What we don't collect:
- No personal information (names, emails, phone numbers)
- No player names, custom prompts, or game results
- No advertising or location data
- No precise device identifiers
TelemetryDeck identifies devices with a privacy-preserving hash that cannot be linked back to you. See TelemetryDeck's privacy policy for details.
Voice Recognition:
SpinCall uses Apple's on-device speech recognition to detect the wake word "spin" (or its localized equivalent). Voice processing happens entirely on your device and is not transmitted to any servers. We do not record, store, or have access to any audio.
iCloud Sync:
If you have iCloud enabled, your game history may sync across your devices via Apple's iCloud service. Your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy when in transit and at rest on Apple servers. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Purchases:
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple shares anonymous purchase metadata (price, currency, storefront country) with us through StoreKit; this is the same data we report to TelemetryDeck above.
Children's privacy: We collect no identifying data and no game content. The app is safe for users of all ages.
